Join us for an interactive round table meet and greet at The Smiths Falls Community Centre (second floor room) 71 Cornelia St. in Smith Falls on Sunday, January 15 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
At this session we will focus on Ontario’s public health care and long-term care. Today, our health care crisis is overwhelming with:
Long-term care home battling COVID-19
Increased wait times due to health care shortage
Over capacity of emergency rooms
Intermittent closure of over 100 emergency rooms in 2022
Lack of inspection of long-term care homes
Increased funding of private health care at the expense of public health care
Bill 7 removes Charter right for patient choice (charging patients $400 a day for refusing hospital transfers).
Sadly the list goes on.
