The Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston riding associations for both the Green Party of Canada and The Green Party of Ontario support the 90% of truckers who have received their Covid vaccinations and continue to keep Canada working. We thank them and all our frontline workers.
“Every day hundreds of thousands of trips are done by our truck drivers, transporting, food, medical supplies, and other goods.” says Maddy Dever, Communications Chair for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston Greens. “Their efforts won’t be belittled by the actions of the few now occupying our capital cities.”
Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston Greens extend their gratitude to all the people who have stepped up and done their part, from cashiers to truck drivers to healthcare workers and to all those working behind the scene to keep Canadians safe and working.
“These essential workers have been working day after day under a great deal of stress and sometimes unnecessarily under duress. ” says Dever.
“A big thanks from all of us to all of you.”
