2023 New Year Meet and Greet – January 15th! MEDIA RELEASE – Ford’s healthcare plan is closing emergency rooms in Carleton Place and across the province.

The Ontario Election in June 2022 is under five months away.

Join us on Sunday January 16th at 2pm as we help our newly nominated candidate, Dr. Marlene Spruyt, kick off the work to become your next Member of Provincial Parliament, and join our leader Mike Schriener at Queen’s Park.

You’ve heard the expression “it takes a village” and this is very true in running a successful election campaign.  We need a lot of people, time, energy and money. We need YOU.

We are in a really good starting place financially to really compete in this election, and we are excited that we have the opportunity to run an exciting campaign. All we need is YOU.

We are hitting the ground running in January and we are looking for a team of volunteers to introduce Marlene to constituents in Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston, and to spread the message of the Green Party of Ontario. We have really good platforms already released on climate change, affordable housing and soon on mental health.  We need your help to reach people across Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston.

We will gladly accept any skill you have and any time you can give.  Before the kickoff meeting please consider if you or anyone you know would be willing to work in any of the following roles. We would greatly appreciate it.

  • Volunteer Coordinator
  • Phone Canvassers
  • Foot Canvassers (for when public health safety allows for it)
  • Communications Coordinator
  • Web/Social Media Coordinator
  • Writers, Graphic Designers

Please join us on Sunday January 16th at 2pm. We have an exciting guest speaker, Matt Richter, Green Party candidate for Parry Sound-Muskoka, who ran his first campaign in 2007, and in 2018 had the second highest vote percentage (20%!). He will talk about his campaign experience, the team he has built, and the current priorities of the Ontario Green Party leading up to the election in June 2022.

Please RSVP using this link! if you have any questions please reach out to Anita Payne at or call her at 613-267-0881.

On behalf of Marlene, I thank you for your time and look forward to seeing you as part of the team!

Maddy Dever
Campaign Manager for Marlene Spruyt,
Green Party of Ontario Candidate for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston
